Laser lower eyelid blepharoplasty: real results…
Last week I operated on a lovely patient who was absolutely thrilled with the result of her lower eyelid blepharoplasty. Her recovery was a breeze and the end result was beyond her expectations. She was kind enough to message me each day with a photo update.
In my opinion, the CO2 laser is the only tool to use for eyelid blepharoplasty. It causes less bruising and swelling after surgery and therefore a quicker recovery. They say a picture paints a thousand words – so I’ll let her pictures speak for themselves.

Traditionally the extra skin would need exacting how does the lazer improve on this process? Is it indeed a better and more precise way to go?

Hi Peter, the laser performs the job of a scalpel and the cautery at the same time. Less bleeding during the procedure and less bruising after. This impacts on recovery time. The surgical outcome still relies on the experience and expertise of the surgeon though. Kind regards Tai
